age 75 of Abingdon, died at 7:30 am Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Care Center of Abingdon.
She was born on December 23, 1937 in Galesburg, the daughter of David and Velma (Jacobs) McMahon. She married Victor Carl Landon on June 26, 1960. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2009.
Betty is survived by two sons, Greg (and Ronda) Landon of Alexis and Doug Landon of Galesburg; two daughters, Rhonda (and William) Lusietto of LaMoille and Becky Beaty of Macomb; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Ann (and Jim) Arnold of Galesburg.
Betty grew up in Galesburg and graduated from Galesburg High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Abingdon. She was also a member of the National Audubon Society. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.
To celebrate her life, her family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation.
