69, of Yates City, Ill. died at 8:10 am Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
He was born June 17, 1944 in Kankakee, Ill. the son of Harlan Edwin and Elsie Josephine Adams Moats.
He is survived by three brothers, Jim (Myrna) Moats of Yates City, Ill., Bob (Vicki) Moats of Wyoming, Ill., and Ronnie (Margaret) Moats of Bureau, Ill.; three sisters, Wilma Darm, Betty Hickman and Mary (Bill) Svetz all of Streator, Ill. and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by her parents and his brother, Lee.
David worked in maintenance for school district 150, retiring in 1999.
