76 a resident of the Knox County Nursing Home and formerly of Whiting Hall in Galesburg, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville.
She was born October 23, 1938 in Macomb, the daughter of Robert and Anna Mannon Kelley. She married Jerry Holldorf. She later married Walt Hazen and they were married for 32 years. She then married to Howard Shields.
Donna is survived by one son, Rondal (Terri) Hazen of Galesburg; one daughter, Sherie Lewis of Dahinda; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; one brothers, Larry (Diane) Kelley of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Sharon Robertson of Arizona; one step-sister, Carol Kelley of Macomb and one step-brother, Steve Kelley of Macomb.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Richard Kelley.
She attended Galesburg High School and later received her GED at Carl Sandburg College. She also graduated from the Dale Carnegie Class. She worked in construction for four years and later was employed in house cleaning for 15 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Galesburg and Payson, Arizona.
Cremation will be accorded. Private burial of her ashes will be in the Abingdon Cemetery. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
