age 74 of RR St. Augustine, died at 7:57 am Friday, August 16, 2013 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
He was born August 26, 1938 in Peoria, the son of Max M. and Martha (Stegall) Robinson. He married Lori Doubet Clark on August 26, 1999 in Galesburg. She survives.
Bill is also survived by his children Natalie Robinson at home, Adam (and Michela) Clark of Abingdon, Earl (and Shannen Wilkins) Clark of Galesburg, Todd Robinson of RR London Mills and Susan (and Dennis) Melvin of RR London Mills; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated from Valley High School in 1956. He was a farmer and also owned and operated Robinson’s Construction. He was a member of the Land Improvement Contractor’s Association. He also served on the Board of Directors for Tompkins State Bank from 1979 to 2010, and was a member of the Board of Directors for the London Mills Community Association and was very active in the Ross Hotel Project.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Pastor Erv Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Maquon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday at the chapel.
